SoundTank are a UK based live techno/deep house act consisting of Jon H and Pete J. Formed in 1995, SoundTank have
gigged extensively at clubs and parties in the North, whilst producing and post producing
numerous great tracks for National techno artists from DJ Evolution to Salad Butty, and Drum and
Bass from J-Force to
The Original Underground Innovators. Over the last 6 years SoundTank have developed huge experience and gained respect for their electric live sets at clubs such as Viva, Mint, The Studio, Out of Order, Electric Lounge, Synogen, T99 festival and SoundCity. SoundTank produce energetic funk-laden deep house and techno. Extreme live sets use technology to its extremes to deliver a rich, full-on dance-inducing beat. SoundTank have had releases on DreamTime Records (‘Molecular’), Roost Records (‘Subversitility’) and Jenetic Records (‘Z=Z+C’, Species EP, Cathartic EP, Cranium EP and Arse From Elbow EP, as well as remixes for DJ Evolution, Dr Flexible and Jake & The Electric Nudes) to great reception (See Reviews). Their tracks Fobic and Needafix are used on the soundtrack to arthouse-cinema film ‘CLOSER’ -- currently touring the film festivals and winning plenty of awards. Sure to be on UKs terrestrial Channel 4 later in the year. Also award winning director Bob Bryan is using "Fobic" and "Quartz Timing" on the last of his graffiti documentary trilogy "GV3" Check out the tunes on this website.
